Chances are you’ve heard this statistic before: over 80% of data generated per day is unstructured data.
While in the past this raw, unorganized data has, at best, been a nuisance and, at worst, a massive liability, with the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), things are starting to charge.
By embracing the next wave of unstructured data processing (UDP) solutions such as NLP, computer vision and voice recognition technology, organizations are transforming unstructured data into powerful strategic assets. While traditional intelligent document solutions could only extract and transform text data, the forthcoming wave of AI-powered UDP solutions can process data from a multitude of sources including images, video, IoT sensor data, social media posts, email and so much more.
With this in mind, we wanted to survey our membership base of digital transformation, intelligent automation and RPA leaders to find out how unstructured data processing fits into their digital transformations. The information we collect will be used to create a new, in-depth report slated to be released in late May.
