Fardad Zand is the Senior Director of Strategy at Careem, responsible for the creation and communication of the company’s overall vision and strategy, which encompasses ride-hailing as well as emerging industry verticals.

Prior to joining Careem, Fardad worked as Senior Advisor with ADL and as Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. He also served as Assistant Professor in Strategy & Entrepreneurship at Delft University of Technology.

Fardad completed his Postdoc research at MIT Centre for Digital Business. He has received his PhD and MSc in Economics and Management respectively from Delft University of Technology and his BSc in Computer Engineering.
