Hessa Al Balooshi is the Director of Smart Services at Smart Dubai Government Establishment with more than 12 years of experience. Hessa Al Balooshi is responsible for planning and implementing the cutting edge technology solutions critical in accomplishing the mission of making Dubai the happiest city on Earth, creating happiness by embracing technology innovation. As part of her role as Director of Smart Services, Hessa Al Balooshi spearheads the Cognitive Computing initiative, which is one of the key building blocks in making all experiences in Dubai efficient, seamless, safe and personalized for its residents and visitors. Dubai is the first in the world to have a city-wide Artificial Intelligence implementation roadmap and Hessa Al Balooshi has played a pioneering role in make this happen. As Director of Smart Services, Hessa Al Balooshi leads the development and progress of the Dubai AI Roadmap, Dubai Now Application, Rashid - Dubai's Smart City Assistant, the Happiness Meter and other customer engagement applications.
