His Excellency Mohammad Hassan

His Excellency Mohammad Hassan has been the Executive Director of Data & Statistics Sector at Federal Competitiveness and Statistic Authority since 2015. His duties include coordination between government institutions in order to achieve national statistical strategy, supervise the provision of data and information supporting decision makers and currently is a member of the United Nation Global Data Working Group. Also, His Excellency Mohammad Hassan is a partner with academia and private institutions on initiatives under the concept of data innovation lab in UAE.                                                 

Prior to that, he worked as the Director of Government Sector at Microsoft focusing on the business development and digitizing government services. He has also worked in the banking sector for 11 years and has held many positions in the banking and investment sector for individuals and companies, IT and project management as well as being a certified ISO quality management. His Excellency Mohammad Hassan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the American National University in addition to the Diploma of Management Information Systems from the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology.  His Excellency Mohammad Hassan graduated from UAE Government Leadership Program and completed Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Sloan) "Study of the Impacts of Artificial Intelligence on Business Strategy"
