Zeina El Kaissi

Spearheads the Dubai-wide strategy and implementation of disruptive technologies and the positioning of Dubai as a global and industry leader in the smart city field. In particular, she is currently busy transforming the city into a  paperless destination where residents can conduct their transactions and experiences completely online without paper and visits to Government centers. Moreover, she is passionate about blockchain technology and how it can support Dubai’s paperless endeavor through the award-winning Dubai Blockchain Strategy she helped launch and lead in 2017. With over 12 years of experience, Zeina has held strategic roles in both the public and private sectors. She has worked as a Senior Consultant at The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE, where she led city-wide projects aimed at increasing the quality of life of Dubai residents and the economic competitiveness of the city regionally and globally. There, she also led the development of the Dubai 3D Printing Strategy launched by the Prime Minister in 2015.
