Simon Jennings

Group Manager, Platforms Silver Chain Group

Simon has been working in the technology industry for 30 years spanning many industries including defence, aerospace, publishing, pharmaceuticals, mining and construction. In the past 14 years he has focussed heavily on the health care sector working in both the UK (with the National Health Service) and for the past eight and half years in Australia.

His recent work has involved major system and data challenges across significant health care projects, including the delivery of the digital medical record and medication management solutions used at Fiona Stanley Hospital. It has also encompassed work on the Perth Children's Hospital project and with the St. John of God Healthcare Group in the opening of their new Berwick hospital.

He currently works for the Silver Chain Group as the Group Manager of Platforms (Core and Clinical), managing their current portfolio of clinical applications and data services. This remit covers the application support, Business Intelligence, reporting, development and integration teams.
