Intelligent Automation: Your Business Solution in the Current Pandemic
The current global COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly changed the face of many organisations, as the potential power of big data, artificial intelligent and machine learning is being maximised. This has been the case across the entire intelligent automation spectrum, whether organisations are looking to scale up their existing systems or expand the power of data, this revolutionary technology is serving to drive efficiency and aid well-informed decisions at such a critical time.
As organisations, across all various industries are forced to rethink their operations and re-examine their long-held assumptions. Despite the current pressurised situation for businesses, it is often these decisions that separate and drive the market leaders to succeed post-crisis. During this time, Intelligent automation (IA) has truly emerged as one of the most critical elements of a crisis response strategy and recovery in companies around the world.
Whether this is the case of deploying an intelligent interaction approach, enforcing full-proof cybersecurity or enabling an efficient remote workforce and service delivery model - IA is serving to provide these solutions. Explore these topics and more with experts from companies including Blue Prism, Ericsson, Nordea, UIPath and more. Check out the full list here.
A key example of this is airlines, with a mountain of refund requests being received daily, many have struggled to keep with the demand. One airline found that within six days - including 4 days of building by engineers - they were able to create a bot that could determine whether a customer was eligible to be refunded.
With the bot’s ability to clear 4,000 refund requests per day – more than would have been cleared in a month manually (and assuming 80% of the volume) – employees were freed to handle more complex work. (Digileaders, 2020)
This demonstrates the undoubted potential of Intelligent Automation during this critical time, saving the workforce 1 month of labour in 2 days with the capability of bots using Robotic Process Automation capabilities.
At a time where attention of a workforce must remain on those profitable and ROI driven activities, it is automation that alleviates many burdens and address increasingly pressurised demand effectively. Whilst many of these solutions can often seem to be short-term needs, the collection of these and expansion into more company-wide and overarching solutions is proven to drive a true digital transformation with long-term benefits.
During this unprecedented period, we welcome you to the Intelligent Automation Nordics Online Summit (1-2 September).
