A 2019 Deloitte study of over 500 global executives found that while 90% expect IA to increase their workforce capacity, 44% have yet to figure out how their workforces need to change in their roles, tasks and the manner in which their tasks are performed. Two-thirds of respondents have not yet even determined how much of their workforce needs to be reskilled. These crucial determinations must be made at the very beginning, as the IA strategy is being planned, in order to achieve the efficiencies expected.
