Marla Dans is Head of Data Governance at Tradeweb, where she developed a new data governance program from the ground up, supporting business objectives and regulatory requirements with a three-pronged approach focused on strategy, inventory, and operations. Her global program is managed by a central team to drive data quality, promote data literacy, and support data democratization throughout the firm. Prior to Tradeweb, Marla consulted for data programs across Financial Services, worked for JP Morgan Chief Data Office, and over 18 years at Morgan Stanley IT, across application development, DevOps, infrastructure, and information security roles. Marla is an active member of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Council and co-founder of EDM Council’s Women in Data Forum, a long-term member and former board member of the Women’s Bond Club of New York, and active member of 100 Women in Finance.
